Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl, is a Kryptonian refugee who arrives on Earth after her planet's destruction. This version of the character is specifically from the Arrowverse TV shows, primarily Supergirl which originally aired on CBS before moving to The CW.
On Earth-38, Kara lived a normal life as Kara Danvers working alongside her adoptive sister, Alex. While concealing her powers she worked as an assistant to Cat Grant and later joined the DEO alongside Alex, working to protect the planet from various threats. Her powers include flight, super strength, heat vision, and ice breath, derived from Earth's yellow sun. She initially calls herself "Superb Lass" before settling on the name Supergirl.
This version of Supergirl first appeared in the pilot episode of the Supergirl TV show, titled "Pilot" (2015).
